Which size tailgate pad do I need?
Measure the width of your tailgate. The pad should be no wider than the tailgate. The Large is 155 cm (61 in) wide and carries up to 6 bikes; the Medium is 135 cm (53 in) for up to 5 bikes; the Duo is 60 cm (24 in) for 2 bikes. If your tailgate is narrower than 155 cm, choose the Medium.
Can I still use the tailgate handle and backup camera?
Yes. There is a built-in access window over the tailgate handle and backup camera, so you can open the tailgate and use the camera with the pad installed.
How does it attach to the truck?
Three 38 mm heavy-duty straps hold the pad to the tailgate, and each bike is secured at the fork with its own adjustable strap.
What happens when the contact points wear out?
The 5 mm neoprene contact panels where the frame and suspension sit are interchangeable. When they wear, you replace the panel rather than the whole pad.
Will the pad scratch my truck or my bikes?
The truck-facing side is lined with a soft-touch micro-fiber interior, and the bike side uses a 26 mm hybrid of high- and low-density foam under the neoprene contact panels.

What is the return policy?
You have 30 days from delivery to request a return on unused items in their original packaging. Start it from your account and we email a prepaid label; a flat $9.95 return-shipping fee is deducted from change-of-mind or sizing returns. If the item is defective, damaged in transit, or the wrong item, return shipping is on us. There is no restocking fee.
Is there a warranty?
Yes — a limited lifetime warranty to the original owner against defects in materials and workmanship, such as failed seams, zippers or hardware under normal use. It does not cover crash damage or normal wear. Email contact@kmausa.co with your order number and photos to make a claim.
