KMA started with the sea, then the streets, then the mountains — and with the gear that kept failing in all three. So we built our own, in Guadalajara, for the people who ride, surf and dive the way we do.
Where it started
Founded in Guadalajara
KMA was founded in Guadalajara, Jalisco. Mexico runs from the sea to the mountains with the streets in between, and the catalog still reflects that range: hydration packs, hip packs and tailgate pads for the trail; dry/wet duffels, coolers and speargun bags for the water; and everyday packs and jerseys for the street and the days in between.
How we build
Designed and made by us
We design and manufacture every product ourselves, working with athletes, pattern-makers, suppliers and seamstresses on the materials, structure and features of each piece. Every product is made in Mexico, and every one is covered by a limited lifetime warranty against defects in materials and workmanship — because the most sustainable bag is the one you never have to replace.
What we stand for
Heritage meets sustainable performance
Mexican heritage, sustainable performance. In practice that means plastic-free packaging, products designed to be repaired rather than replaced (our tailgate pads use replaceable contact panels for exactly that reason), and 1% of every sale given to environmental nonprofits as a member of 1% for the Planet.
